Reorder point is the stock level that tells you to order now. It is what you sell while you wait for the delivery (average daily sales × lead time) plus a safety stock cushion.
Safety stock covers a busy spell and a late delivery at the same time: (maximum daily sales × maximum lead time) − (average daily sales × average lead time). If sales and deliveries are very steady, it can be close to zero.
Days of stock left is stock on hand ÷ average daily sales. Reorder by is the day stock is expected to reach the reorder point if sales stay at the average.
Order quantity covers the lead time plus the time until your next order (the review period), tops the safety stock back up and subtracts what you already have.
